We at the COR Wellness Center are excited that Governor Whitmer has issued an Executive Order allowing gyms to reopen. Starting as of September 21, 2020, our new temporary hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. We will be closed on weekends until further notice. We’re pumped to be up and running again, and we can’t wait to see you back.
Your wellness is why we’re here, so we’re taking extra steps as we welcome you back to COR. Our dedicated staff has been hard at work preparing for your return. Below you will find information on all the measures we are undertaking for your well-being and our commitment to minimize the spread of COVID-19 in the Wellness Center and our community.
Things will look and feel a little different when you return, but our mission is still the same: helping our members achieve their health and wellness goals. With that in mind, we’ve temporarily transformed some spaces. We’ve also enacted enhanced daily cleaning procedures, measures to allow for social distancing and set up more hand sanitizing stations. All of these changes are being enacted for our members’ safety and comply with government guidelines and CDC recommendations to help minimize the spread of COVID-19 in the Wellness Center and our community.
Highlighted below are the various measures we have implemented for your well-being. We know we can’t do this alone, and we’ve highlighted expectations of our members to help us in our effort.
The practices and measures above reflect COR Wellness Center’s most up-to-date COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic as part of our efforts to mitigate the potential for transmission of COVID-19 in our facility and community. They are based on information available from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and government directives. As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, COR Wellness Center stands ready to revise our policies to reflect changes in guidelines and directives and communicate new recommended practices we adopt.
